The pandemic has taught us all, you can work from anywhere. That freedom has made many employees rethink whether a branch office is a benefit or a burden.  Do you have a branch office location that meets your needs and the needs of your clients?  Is working from home or near home more convenient?  Your employee grid has a large allocation toward real estate that may not be paying off for you.  Independence brings flexibility of office location and you can lead that decision.

HIGHER COMPENSATION

Typically, there is roughly a 20 percent increase in post expense payout rates between employee and the independent advisor compensation. The average employee is netting 40-45 percent, while the average independent is netting an impressive 60-65 percent.  For a $500k producer that is a $100,000 increase in income.  For the million-dollar advisor that can be $200,000 or more.   Make more money, invest more back into your business, or do both.
